One of the greatest fights I’ve ever seen. True display of how entertaining MMA can be when both competitors are warriors and extremely skilled in there disciplines. Ortega is a warrior and I bet he gained a lot of fans from that performance. Props to Volk who I’ve overlooked when p4p conversations arise but he shown tonight he is in his prime, outstanding cardio and a nightmare for anyone in that division.

I have major respect for Brian after this fight, he goes the distance, doesn't give up and gives it his all. He looked dead after round 3 but he continued on. One of my favourite fighters, I hope he gets the belt sometime soon.

The fact that they scraped him off the ground at the end of round 3 and my man actually put up a good fight until the end is fucking insane to me. I don't know if you guys have ever trained MMA, but it's the most exhausting sport by due to the fact that even as you get tired, someone's trying to beat your ass. Real warrior shit last night.

Kudos to Ortega's heart for having been beat up badly but still jumping for submissions and Volk's grit to come out of them. This fight surpassed everyone's expectations and will definitely be one of the nominees for fight of the year 🎉💥
