My late mother loved Adam. When he first appeared on American Idol, she instantly became a fan. By the end of the season (I hadn't watched until the last episode of the season), I was brushing my teeth and I heard this beautiful voice. I stopped, looked into the living room and saw Adam singing. After that, I had become a fan. He reminds me a lot of the late great Freddie Mercury. I'm sure if Freddie was here, and they had met, they would be great friends.
