I like having OS installers around to fix or update or revive ailing equipment. Imagine being an Intel Mac owner, with a OS that's not going to be updated much anymore. What do you do? install a dual boot of Windows & Linux! All kinds of great software tools, much of it free or cheap.

Very interesting video, which is of interest to me, but unfortunately it is all whizzing way over my head, and i would probably break stuff if I tried
I tried installing Windows 7 (home) because I liked it as I could run games and stuff that Win 10 turns it's nose up at., but it would always stop because of a missing file, so, I gave up, using a pucka Win 7 disc bought and paid for (for a change)....:)
I was going to try and install Win 8 + 8.1 for fun, ...

Hi Brian.
The latest Insider Preview states that Windows 11 Pro will require an internet connection to be installed with a Microsoft account.
In this case, I have the mediatek network card and only after the installation I manually install the driver for lan / wifi. Is there a solution in this case?
