Again, someone (Eddie here) is sort of going to try to be a parent to Sophie because Delilah isn't there to do it and barely cares about her daughter. I know it's the actress who decided to be absent from the show for now, but in terms of the characters, Delilah is a bad mother for Sophie

What is Sophie’s problem?! I used to give her a pass considering she’d just lost her dad, but it seems like she just chooses to be pissed off all the time now. Sure, Gary probably shouldn’t have pummeled Peter, but why she has completely turned her back on him after all he’s done for her and Danny since Jon died is really just showing what a spoiled brat she is. Now, she’s pissed at Eddie because he’s suggesting she reconsider college? How DARE he 🙄. She needs a swift reality check

Sophie needs to stop being a toddler around Gary. I really dislike Cam. I'm happy about Gary and Maggie. Rome needs help. Gina doesn't deserve his rude remarks. I love Maggie's assistant (loved her in Kims Convenience). I adore Theo but honestly don't really care about Katherine. And the show needs to get back to what it originally was. ASAP.

I missed out on Season 4 cause it changed channels in my country. I don't know if it affected the ratings. SO I've been binge watching the 4th Season seeing as it's on a different channel but not a cable channel.
I was reading a recap of "White Little Lies ".
I agreed with one person's feedback on Sophie. Gary didn't deserve ALL of Sophie's ANGER!!!! I'm sorry but any LOVING Dad would've wanted 2 harmed their daughter's abuser. Gary said he didn't attack Peter, but it was Laila's Dad who ended up snapping. Gary had told Maggie, that she was the only one, who knew that he didn't ultimately beat Peter. Maggie says b/c she knew he didn't have it in him. But it was interesting that he kept the other father's daughter who committed suicide a secret. When one of the other Dad's told Sophie that they would've done the same thing, Sophie says that her own Dad would've let her speak her voice. I felt like suddenly she was putting her Dad on a pedestal. Yes he was suffering deeply, but he still left his children. Gary is the glue to the group & esp John & Delilah's I didn't get how she couldn't never trust Gary again b/c what he was capable of. BUT he WASN'T CAPABLE of harming Peter in the way he wanted I gotta say, I agree with this critic. AND Gary helped Maggie fight to live when she was going to give up!!!!
