I have tried to think of reasons I would need an Apple watch over the years. I swim every day so I wear the lightest thinest watch I can (usually pretty cheap too). ECG monitoring is a plus, although I personally prefer the moderately cheap (not the cheapest models) of pulse oximeters. (After a few fast swim To laps I just check my pulse for 15 seconds and multiply by 4 to see if I'm getting cardio, as they're not waterproof) They're around $40 on amazon and come with a little beep sound with each pulse so you know if you're in a regular rhythm, and as a plus, know your oxygen saturation levels and pulse rate is displayed as well. They're so cheap I have one in my car, near my bed, and in the living room. Very convenient and I find it interesting. Blood glucose would be interesting and I've yet to see that anywhere so not sure how Apple will invent it! Total investment under $200. I use an android cellphone which is around $300. May not be perfect but I'm not a professional photographer nor do I need real time connection to friends and work. Am I missing something?
