New Subscriber here. Thanks for the warning. If I may add another warning to this, we moved to a rural area from a large city. In the large city, a policeman or policewoman would come on our local T.V. station and give safety tips. Here's one: The delivery man could have had his eye on your wife already, or your child. He may have seen them outside before when he came to make a delivery. The policewoman warned women not to engage in conversation with random men, because some men mistake polite conversation from a woman as the woman's coming on to them or flirting. Now, we also have to worry about human trafficking of women and children. We watched a video on YouTube about men luring women by asking for directions, approaching women in grocery stores asking seemingly innocent questions, etc. My husband and I worry about our granddaughter, because our daughter-in-law thinks that warning children about being safe is "Too frightening." You're so wise to be cautious. Thanks again!!

I’ve had Amazon drivers take pictures of my backyard. I called the police and they were not concerned. I have 3 cameras outside. I’ve had them drop a package, take a picture, pick the package back up and leave again. I also had a woman stick her camera to my window and take pictures of the inside of our house. I think it’s groups of thieves that share pictures.

I had the same situation with a delivery driver. He seemed to take to long to "find my package" (in his personal vehicle) and when I met him at the vehicle he wasnt friendly at all. He said they opened a new Amazon warehouse in the city close to me and wanted to make a quick 75 bucks in 3 hours. Judging by the truck he was driving, he didnt need a quick 75 bucks. I had a bad feeling about him in my spirit. I think this goes deeper than simple robbery. May the Lord protect us brothers and sisters. In Jesus name . Amen🙏

If you put a lock and chain on the gate no one is coming in unless they have bolt cutters. If they cut off your lock they are breaking and entering.

My husband grew up on the streets and later was a marine.
I am one of the few women who can easily spot that bad behavior, because my husband of 40 years taught me. Even though i am in my 70s and widowed i am not in fear but still am aware of my surroundings.
I wish more women were.

Happy belated birthday young man! I live in a condo in a city of 300, 000 in Saskatchewan. We had criminal activity for the first time in our complex. Because I’m observant I discovered our entrance door had been messed with and wouldn’t close entirely. Whoever did it was planning on entering that night. I Called management and notified the police.

I am living in Dallas these days; but I was born and raised in Missouri, in the country, and we trusted NO ONE, except for a very select few people; we had our place cased once…and I was sus about what was going on; we had a repair shop that we used for ourselves; I stayed up that night, sitting on the shadowed side of the machine shop, with my protection x3, all double barreled, and that car came creeping back, and when two guys got out, I shot off both barrels of my granddaddy’s protection that I had inherited from him, the 2 guys stopped momentarily, then kept on coming, I let the barrels of my daddy’s protection I had inherited, show in the light, but I was still in deep shadow, and I told them to leave, or to get ready to meet the rest of those who had tried to get away with something down in h e l l….and I cocked both barrels….they left in a terrible hurry there…I got the license plate # and called the Sheriff; seems that I wasn’t the only one who had confronted them; I was the only person who had gotten the license plate#….and those 2 dingbats were in possession of so much stolen merchandise, they are STILL in the pokey

About twenty years ago I had 10 acres with a house in the middle of the woods. The gate was always locked. The sign on the gate said "Smile you've been recorded for one minute so far" And the BIG sign inside the gate, and smaller ones around the fence line said, "You're No Longer a Trespasser Now You're a Target."

Yes this! Had 3rd party private vehicle delivery rusted pickup two burly guys got out delivered 2 tiny packages lingering forever, I opened my interior door with my protection tool and two 80lb Siberian huskies at my side they left in a hurry. Be vigilant.

We just went through a very similar thing. We are also in the same state and have an electric gate. We have written in our Amazon account “ all packages left at the gate.” This man was Amazon and stayed at the gate holding the package while waking back and forth in front of the gate. So I saw him from the house and walked out to the gate and tried to take my package. He insisted it has to be on the porch . He refused to give it to me unless I let him come in the property and take a pic. So my husband got involved and he told us Amazon can no longer leave packages at the gate. I have a very long driveway and the gate is closer to my home then the farther end of the driveway. However we got the package from him but it was a shouting match and he was yelling at us in a foreign language. There no such policy from Amazon. We are in the county and keep our gate shut with signs not to push on the gate . We have noticed that sometimes people don’t care about property rights and no trespassing signs these days . However this guy gave us the creeps and we are watching everything.

Few months ago a work truck w/3 men came to my house claiming they were there to install new water meter. Told the leader the meter wasn't where he was looking & asked his name & what company he worked for. Told him I was going to call right there in front of him to check & if he was wrong I was calling the police. They left immediately & never returned. Verified city was installing meters but did not have contract with the company this man said. Reported them. Anyone in my driveway gets the 3rd degree, pic taken, etc. whether they like it or not.

Report the driver to neighbor and or cops hopefully you took a picture of him
And be careful disclosing much more about your place. I know the world you and I want to live in, is no longer. Trust and verify your friends. Keep an eye out for these scammers. Be safe!

Did you contact the service he worked for and asked to speak to the driver's supervisor to explain the two weird encounters in 2 hours time? Tell the Supervisor to look at the driver's pics of delivered merchandise. The pics should show the supervisor he is casing the places he delivers. You can request that driver is not to deliver to your address again. Did you call the guy who owns the property across the street from you what you witnessed and give him A heads up he might want to install a trail cam on the property? Never ever tell anyone on a video when you take vacations, or what kind of neighbors you live next to or the fact they are armed up or not. Loose lips sink ships. Good luck, keep your head on a swivel always.

Out here in NC, had some Latinos roll up in an SUV in our subdivision one early morning 7a.m, hopped out randomly started weed edging in a tucked away area here, and not just one house. Neighbor happened to be up and on the phone when one started walking around back of her house, the dude saw her on the phone and caught sight of neighbor. Immediately loaded up the SUV and drove off…
