I'm 27, male. Problems on night started at age of 12-13 but didn't realized that was a problem. Started wearing glasses for myopia at age of 15 ( minus 2 diopters on both eyes.). At age of 18, vision on night really started to degenerate. On age 22, I still could see a yellow tint on the road when the lights on poles are on). On age 24, I go to a real ophthalmologist and got a diagnostic of RP. Now on 27 years, the night vision is not existent. I can't see nothing. On peripheral vision test, I see white/yellow colors on extreme sides, but blue/green, I see only 1 centimeter from the center. 3 years I got medicine including lutein and didnt helped. If I got lutein at age 15, I would still be in this situation ? When I should expect the tunnel to appear? I can't go on USA in the near future (money problems) so I'm asking if there is a way to get treatment/help if I'm from Europe (Romania) ?
