F-150 POWERSTEP RETRACT RUNNING BOARDS // Rough Country VS AMP Research

Today I have SC Motorsports install the new Rough Country Retract Power Step Running Boards onto my 2018 F150. This video has some key differences and similarities to the AMP Research Power Side Steps. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

*Update January 2023: It has come to my attention that Rough Country has discontinued the 3 support step sides and went to the 2 support just like the AMP Research. After a conversation with RC they stated it was for reasons making it easier to install.

Hey man, the link to the RC steps doesn't work, and when I go to RCs website it doesn't pull up the steps with the three supports. It only has two supports in the image on their website. Are those the steps for a GM vehicle by chance?

Love the lights and the look. They seem slower to retract. How many motors are on each side?

Looking for retractable steps that are controlled by the vehicles. Unlocked and locked feature versus the door opening and closing. Sometimes we need to stand on the steps. Without having the door open. It's annoying.
