Featured Snippets are the boxed answers you see at the top of Google for some searches, normally informational searches. If you search for "what is a stocks and shares isa" then you'll get a text-box with the answer. If you search for "how to tie a tie" then you'll see a video Featured Snippet. When you search for "best live casinos" then you'll get a table Featured Snippet which lists the details for each casino.

Owning the website which features in the Featured Snippet position is highly beneficial as you'll have more visibility than the other websites linked beneath it due to the space the Featured Snippet takes up. It makes it more likely that you website will be clicked on, but (depending on the completeness of the answer) it may mean that people read the answer and don't visit your website.

Given the upsides and downsides, it's best to make sure your website features in the Featured Snippet rather than your competitor, so fighting for the Featured Snippets your related search queries have is paramount and should be a priority in your search marketing strategy.

1) What is the best header tag to use for my text header when asking the question?
For example: What is Digital PR? (Should I use H2 or H3 tags)


2) If I am using wordpress, (Divi Theme) how do I actually make an image a "feature image"?
For example: In your first example of the snippet you won, you have a header, then paragraph text, as well you have that image all included in the snippet. How to I help google figure out that an image would be a feature image for that question?
