My husband is a lineman, been one for 20+ years. He is in the Carolinas now working on restoring power after Helene. Just told me he was going to be headed back to Florida for Milton. I always listen to this song when he has to go away on storm.

My son Louis John, just left this morning as he heads to Lineman school in Denton TX, a 15 week college program.
Please keep him in your prayers . I am such a proud mother to know the sacrifice, unselfishness and dangerous career my son is willing to take on. When he mentioned what he wanted to do I was so proud of him and nervous to say the lease, but I know in my heart this is a calling for him, I believe it’s a calling from the Lord. So how this all got started because my son was trying to figure out what he wanted to do career wise, being he’s still young (31)... a friend of his is a lineman and introduced him to this career and said theres a demand for lineman’s, he said pay is great and very rewarding, and this is where this all got started.
Thank for such a beautiful song, prayer to all the lineman especially those heading to Louisiana and Mississippi to repair lines. We are forever grateful. God Bless you all and thank you .🇺🇸🙏🏻

My dad was a lineman for 30 years. I just sent him this song and told him they made a song just for him. I’m thankful for ALL our linemen. Unless you are a family with a lineman you really don’t know the dangers of electricity!

It takes a special breed to do what we do. I have been a lineman for over 42 years now and have been called to numerous Hurricane, Tornado, Fire and Ice storms. We do it because we love it and it is in our blood. I missed many sports activities when my kids were growing up. When the power is out, we are on our way. God has kept me safe all these years and I pray for God to keep ALL of my FELLOW LINEMAN BROTHERS SAFE as well. We are a very close nit family. A big thank you to the BAND STEELE for such an amazing song. May God Bless Each and Every Lineman out there and their families.

I've never thought how much these men and women put on the line every single day until I moved South and in the line of fire for these storms. I thank all of you, wherever you are. May God bless you, all of you. Thank you.❤

My great grandfather was a lineman for TCEC in Texas County Oklahoma and he always went out with a badass attitude and got the job done no matter what! Today is his birthday. He passed in 2017. I miss you papa! RIP Claude Edward Burns

I really appreciate this song and all my line brothers. We do our job because we love it and we love people. 🤟 it’s great to see the smile on a family’s face when the lights go back on and a child jumping up and down and waving in joy. Line Life 👍🏻

my fiancee just lost her cousin Josh Franklin working on the job. He was a Lineman for 9 years. The love and support that was showed for him was unreal. Lineman are all heros. And their wives are incredibly strong. They live in fear everyday their husbands go to work. R.I.P to all of the fallen Lineman and to all the Lineman that climb that pole on a daily basis be safe out there.

My youngest grandson is a lineman. He's shipping out for Louisiana later today. Our prayers go out to Cody and his brethren. May God set a hedge of protection around them all!

Without us and electricians first responders can't get the call. You all forget us. But we leave our family and do a lot of hours and get your lights on. And beat us up when your inconvienced. You never know where we come from. Thank God for the IBEW
