Stretch fully fashioned stockings are made from 100% nylon, but they're knitted in a way that they have natural stretch and although they don't look as glamorous as their non stretch counterparts they are generally very comfy to wear and give a very authentic 1940s/50s daywear look.
I say 'generally' as these are a later style and have a skimpy narrow welt which really doesn't stretch nicely at all: ouch!
