Don't forget to make fun of how I never say Doraemon quite right.

"Albert and Sydney" sounds like one of those "my elder relative tries to name Pokemon/Smash Bros characters" memes.

Imagine going through adult films and finding a clip of a lost episode.

I can just imagine being one of the people who worked on the 1973 show and your president just disappears and 10 years later you find out he’s been smuggling guns.

I feel sorry for millenial english speaking generations that lost this great show. In Latin America Nobita became the poster child for lazy lids and moms would tell you that you looked like Nobita if you were like that.

As a black human being I can confirm we dislike the sound of rubbing glass it's our weakness.

Thank you for being the one lost media channel that doesn’t edit lost media vids like a horror mystery video.

Can we take a moment to appreciate how he correctly pronounces most of the Japanese? It's refreshing to not cringe when hearing someone saying Japanese names. :)

When Doraemon came to the west in 2014 I thought to myself "There's no way it took 3 decades to bring one of Japan's biggest series here, there has to be an attempt to bring the series stateside prior to this."

Mike, I swear ur videos always make my day. theyre so well researched and I love the tone u have. u approach lost media as sth historical not a creepypasta and for someone who is easily scared I just rly appreciate it. besides, u cover such a wide range of topics and I love hearing u talk cause so often I can just hear how youre smiling and enjoying the topics u talk abt. keep up the great work!! 💖💖
also [obligatory comment making fun of u saying Doraemon from Japanese-speaking person]

As a Singaporean who used to watch on Kids Central and SPEEDY dubs at the time, i might have watch Doraemon at one point. Sadly, i can't remember the exact voices as i was still a young kid but i am 100% sure i have watch Doraemon because i use to watch it all the time on local channel.

Unfortunately, Kids Channel were rename as OKTO in 2008 but sadly shutdown as a standalone channel and merge with Channel 5 in 2019. Possibly due to low ratings and more people move to streaming.

As for SPEEDY, last i heard it went bankrupt in Malaysia due to COVID and the rise of internet doesn't help as well.

With all these problems, the dubs are 100% lost. Hate to say it but it's just impossible. We never really focus on preserving shows here. Heck, even local shows are lost.

As a huge Doraemon fan, I'm very excited to see all of its lost media! I am also sad that Doraemon is not very popular in English speaking countries despite the dubs.:C

In Spanish-speaking countries or at least here in Spain, Doraemon is an icon, even my 80 year old grandmother knows who he is.

You should make a video about lost paintings. I don’t see them mentioned as much compared to video games or movies. 💕✨

You should do Jim Henson/Muppet lost media, there's the lost bear in the big blue house pilot, out to lunch special, hip hip parade, tinsel town, there's a lot of stuff to cover lol.

(Edit: I thought of a few more, such as the lost muppet show bits, like the piece with Zero Mostel and Fozzie, the dentist bit in Sex and Violence, an alternate ending to "Fever" in the Rita Moreno episode, Sam and friends episodes, the millions of early commercials Jim did, the numerous lost sesame street episodes, I bet there's much more)

I discovered Doraemon from the Story of Seasons game and fell absolutely in love with its charm. When I first started playing it I was disappointed because of not being able to marry and have kids, which is usually a staple for these farm life sims, but the charm of the series quickly overrode that. I didn't know a thing about Doraemon before but now the characters hold a special place in my heart because of the endearing personalities.

Oh man... And it's wild to me Doraemon is apparently obscure to US people. Like, what?
Even in México it has a strong presence. First entry got me guessing before you said Barbados.
Thought you were gonna say my country or PR, would be funny because my mom watched it growing up
And Ken-chan's adventure is just so sweet, and being disabled myself. Very heartwarming and touching
Also, what're you on about Mike? You pronounced Doraemon and other things here far better than most people

There's another Doraemon lost media I'd like to talk about. It's the lost mexican-spanish dub of the 1980 movie Doraemon: Nobita no Kyoryu (Nobita's Dinosaur) localized in Mexico as Robotín, Pepito y el Dinosaurio. It was supposedly the first attempt to bring the Doraemon franchise to Latin America. Not a single remnant of this dub has ever surfaced the web and the only info we've got about it is the voice actors cast for the dub and witnesses of users who watched this dubbed version back in the 90's and early 2000's.
