Certainly the best winter tire I've ever used. I feel much safer with these underneath. There are only four small areas where our car is in contact with the road, snow, ice and more. Even a very advanced car that costs a small fortune is only as good as those four little areas of contact. Safety first is more than an expression ; it's a matter of life or death at times. This great product is not a pass to drive faster. Slowing down would make a huge difference for all of us in Canada. Sadly this is all too often ignored.

Studless winter tires are more comfortable, quieter, and more fuel efficient than studded tires. And they are as good as studded in snow, if not better. However, remember studless tires are not as effective _on ice_ as studded tires. Nor are they recommended for beginner winter drivers. Studless tires require a lighter foot, more anticipation of road conditions, and generally more cautious driving.
