I think it's a great idea to compare early game trucks and the same trucks today. Thanks for the videos!

Mate, I get it! I actually get it! I've always thought you were a maniac for towing Loafs everywhere, so I tried it.
I was exploring remote grey areas of the map in Russia, so I took my Kolob 74941 and towed a Loaf with me for a laugh. My Kolob actually got its chin stuck, it's the first time that thing's ever got stuck anywhere, and I used my little Loaf to pull it out.
Then I found a Hummer, which I repaired and refuelled with the Loaf, and towed it home with the Kolob.
What a brilliant little machine the Loaf is, and you're not a maniac after all

Great video.... I had actually done this mission but not noticed the repair function, so thanks for that. I agree with you on the depth of snow or mud issue. I’ve driven a Kubota mini tractor through a snow drift that was higher than the bonnet....no problem. Most of the time you only needed two wheel drive engaged and only engage four wheel drive when necessary then disengage ASAP and the diff lock was never permanently engaged as you can flick a tractor over if you use a diff lock in the wrong place, as you say these trucks should handle this terrain much easier in general but just build in a few tricky areas.

The fact the repair station also refuel give me the though that the game devs knew how troll these new maps are. The in p16 the snow barely reaches the rim yet it slow as a slug

I really do hope they'd break the pattern of increasing the stuck in mud/snow factor map after map and just do something else as a form of engaging gameplay for Year 2 Season Pass.

As always, love the videos. I did that mission already but didn't know you could refuel your supplies there! Thank you for the information!

Love the video, and thanks for showing the scout fuel trailer details with regards to the repair station, i knew it fixed/restored vehicles and roof racks, but didn't know it did the trailer. As you mentioned now its a fuel station as well. I just uncovered this mission last night in my Wathog and Acteaon scouts and was going to fish out the long trailer - now i'll bring something a bit bigger lol. Btw love your snowrunner content because you don't use mods (same for game riot), all the others do and it dilutes the gameplay. I used to use mods and it spoilt the game for me making it too easy and i never used the base vehicles because of it.

I noticed that the repair station also refills any fuel add ons. Left a truck there with a fuel tank and now I have unlimited fuel on that side of the map.

Hey Wolf I just did some testing with the MC9500 and found out that the 2100T is more powerful than the V6 2420, I tried both the 2100 and V6 with high range with the heavy crane. The V6 could only get up to 6th in auto where as the 2100T was able to get into 8th gear

To me the sideboard trailer is much more of a catch 22 then a normal sideboard on a truck.

You know me, I like the flatbeds, I just like the look of them more. But I do understand the benefits of the sideboard as if you tip enough to disconnect the cargo, but not enough that you loose it, then you could save your load and repack.

However with the trailers I don't think it's that cut and dry. I'd rather use the Step-Deck or the saddle high wide trailer IF it was optional, which I realised it wasn't here as that's the trailer the mission gives you. But damn are both those blue trailers terrible, both the sideboard and the flatbed.

I mean they are easy to load as they sit right over the back of the truck. But bloody hell are both of those blue trailers tippy. Like if your truck starts going over, then those blue trailers are going over. They offer absolutely NO resistance. Heck a lot of the time those trailers start going first, so they are actively trying to pull you over with them.

Meanwhile I find the Step-Deck is actually quite hard to roll over and it actually saves you a lot.

Like I said my crane truck is the Bandit, and man when the Bandit starts going the Blue trailers are just like "Nope I quit" and just rolls with no resistance. Meanwhile with the Step-Deck I've had times the Bandit would try to go and the Step-Deck "Oh no you don't, your staying on your wheels Mr Bandit"

It might be a pain in the ass the load with a little crane, but man the blue trailers tippiness just doesn't seem worth the ease of loading to me.

Sadly every mission I've found on Season 4 that gives you a trailer always gives you a blue trailer. I think Sabre does it on purpose cause they know the blue trailers are tippy as all hell and they'll make your mission harder. In the meanwhile at least when I come by those missions and see a blue trailer I can say to myself "Yep, well I know why that's tipped over and in the ditch." lol

interesting missishion that good to keep a loaf and fuel trailer there. the gearbox is nowhere as good as you said since the fine-tune have entered the game the power loss is noticeable. that would be great just to see the difference between now and when the game first came out with the trucks. bloody good show old chap 🍞🐎🛬🍞🦊👌👌👌👌mint m8

A note on “why” the new free trucks might have been geared more toward the early content is I noticed new missions, logging related, ever since season 3 as far back as Michigan. Those trucks are handy there.

Will there be a way to craft or get small pipes after building the garage in Chernokamensk for the other contracts that need small pipes

This mission totally trolled me on my first attempt, I ended up tipping the trailer at one point and one of the vehicle spare part boxes just disappeared leaving me with just 4 so I had to restart.

I think you can permanently hide the crane controls now on PS4 in the game menu!

One dev + one thumbscrew = some well deserved answers, by God!

there's a mod "dolphin" that has a liftable/steerable rear axle but most importantly increases the fuel tank to 600L.🤔🤔

I figured it out, the crane isn’t crap. The winch cable on the crane is crap. Definitely don’t use the dolphin on hard mode, you will be bankrupt because of the fuel

Those fintune Gearboxes are useless on all AWD Trucks, higher Fuel consumption and thats it. Noticed on my playthrough in Phase 4 (yes, I did it) some Trucks even stutter now from 1st gear to 1st gear ( Iuse mostly Freeway, because slowed down Revs in + and - dont make sense if only the wheels are spinning on downcoded Terrain). The gearboxes all are worse. It is one more disappointing puzzle piece in how this game fails in a view how Trucks technical work.
