Warning: Automatic Bill Pay

Don't allow companies to automatically withdraw from your account, here's why:

I don't use automatic bill pay even if it saves money, for the reason you said, mistakes happen.

That's good advise but only for those who are good about paying the credit card off each month. The bill comes a month later and some people are lax about paying the full amount and will only pay minimum required causing the balance to be charged interest..this can snowball quickly and get you heavy in debt before you know it.
