I am the developper behind this mod and I have to say: thank you very much for your very honest and down to earth review!

I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to state my disclaimers. As you said there is so work much to do, my roadmap is absolutely packed with changes and fixes. Being my very first mod, I had to learn everything from the ground up and I can tell you that it is a very very steep learning curve... I am still learning and I will keep working on this project! The Huey is my favorite helicopter of all and bringing it to the community makes me really happy :)

I will soon release a update for the C variant adding the B variant to it and as well a new mod for the UH-1H version of this bird (the trailer is out already) I want it out before Christmas because I won't be able to access my computer for a quite a long time after that, and also because I can't wait to share it to the world :)

Another ace review for such a new product and developer. Thumbs up given!
The gun in the front is a 40mm grenade launcher (sometimes referred to as the bloop gun) Only a few UH-1's we're built to this configuration due to it being only marginally effective (40mm grenade rounds tend to be wind sensitive and stray when fired from aloft, not good if friendlies are "danger close") and the feeding mechanism had a high cost of maintenance.

I wish that guy in the twin knew how to use the slew keys, I've had more of those moments than I care to admit.Press the slew key, don't do anything other than cancel the slew and you'll be right side up preferably cut the power first.I downloaded the Huey last night but haven't installed it yet.Thanks to you, I know what to

Typically the cannon on the nose was an automatic 40mm grenade launcher. My time in the H model was in the back with the M-60 machine gun but I did get a few hours of stick time on maintenance fights

I have 2 major issues with this helicopter, once I landed and turned the engines off, the heli just magically goes back to the sky with the engines off 😂🤣 what the heck its going on??? The other its, once I'm done with the heli if I want to use any airplane they just fly like a helicopter, WTF?!?!?!
I had to close Airlandfs and erase the mod to get back to normal, any solution for that????

Wow... I don't even have FS yet but cannot wait. Re the sound of the Huey internally is more of a high pitch continuous whine, the main transmission drive shaft from the engine spins at 6600RPM and the rotor at 325. There's 2 sets of planetary gears in the transmission that make the reduction.. It would be best to go for a ride in an Iroquois one day.... The Huey are better than women😁
