North Korea blows up inter-Korean road and rail line near border

North Korea blew up a section of inter-Korean roads and rail route on its side of the border between the two Koreas, prompting South Korea's military to fire warning shots. NBC News' Janis Mackey Frayer reports on the rising tension between the two countries.

My late uncle was a helicopter pilot stationed in northern South Korea. I was able to see the N Korean people. He said these poor people were skeletons with skin. Very sad. Can’t imagine how awful it would be to live in N Korea.

They don’t need those roads and railways- they have improved relations with Russia and China now. This was a bold and smart move.
