Pupdate: NMDR Peace
Peace’s story began on a sad note. When she was rescued, she was so terrified that she lashed out in fear, biting the hands that were trying to help her. Past circumstances made her completely distrust humans. Now, her turnaround is incredible!
Peace was recently adopted, along with two of her shelter friends, Ginny and Holly. They are all living in Idaho now, and having a steady, reliable home has done wonders for Peace. It truly is remarkable what some patience, time, and love can do! Please enjoy Peace’s journey in video, and her update. “Already experiencing a new life by moving all the way to Idaho, Holly, Ginny and Peace have other exciting news. They are now members of a family with two moms and four canine siblings. With new names for two of them, these dogs are now Clover, aka Holly, Ginny aka Crimson and Peace, who is still Peace.
Explaining how the family ended up adopting three dogs at once from NMDR, one of the dogs' mom says that she initially really wanted Peace. She then saw Ginny's face and fell totally in love with her. When she heard that Ginny was bonded to Holly, she could not and would not separate the two so she and her partner decided on all three! Now these rescues have discovered what it is like to be in a home where they have good food, a yard to play in and comfortable places to sleep.
Because both of their moms work in the same pet-friendly office, all seven dogs go with them to work on a daily basis. Their moms say that they are with their dogs all the time. "We just love dogs," says one of the dogs' mom, "and we are hoping that we will be able to get a large place in the near future and have more of these lovable animals in our lives. We knew we wanted another rescue or two now, and we have ended up with three. Luckily, everyone is getting along, and we are very, very happy to have our latest additions!"
