I have family that work in nursing homes across the country. This tends to become a problem in those places so they remedy it. They use bleach at night. Pour a small amount of bleach in your drains at night so the bleach will sit in the top of the clogged areas and in the u-bend. This prevents the flies from comtinuing to breed. You do this every night for a few weeks and the problem will resolve itself. I hope this helps to add another solution. Bleach is already in most homes.

My kitchen sink has not been draining well since I move in a year ago, so I never use the garbage disposal. The tiny moths ?or? drain flies.. dont fly around the drain, but are up on the ceiling. They started appearing shortly after I bought 75 pounds of different types of Grains. I put them into Dollar Tree containers that have screw tops, but that are NOT air tight!!
