Hi David. After checking out your review, alongside a few others, I've treated myself to a late Christmas present and just bought the Compact Venom. Cheers for reviewing it.

I perform Venom Cube along with Jon Allen's "Cube Tube". It's perfect for this effect and allows you to actually start with a solved cube and then mix your cube that is going to match the spectator's cube at the end. I would pick this up for the thinner gimmicks, but it's also smaller so it wouldn't work with my current cubes. I know it comes with the smaller cubes, but going smaller doesn't work for the larger audiences I perform for, in general. A great trick to be sure, and if you haven't picked this up yet and want to do it for walk around, I would definitely go for it. This trick never fails to get audible gasps and various exclamations from the audience. Highly recommended.

Thank you- I love watching all your videos, I always see your review before ordering anything- pls advice I do not have the original Venom cube- so should I order that or the compact- since my shows are for a larger audience I feel a bigger cube would be advantageous- looking forward to your reply ❤

Also, this compact cube can also be used with Chop Cup or Cups and Balls, as a Final Load.

Which version do you think is better? Are there any improvements apart from cutting down the size? I can’t see myself carrying this around in a pocket, even with the reduced size.

I purchased because of your review and can’t wait! I’m getting more into Cube tricks and am wondering if you or anyone knows of the trick where a mixed up cube is handed to a spectator and they solve the cube behind their back. I can’t find this anywhere. Thanks!!

i got mine a few days ago. I didn’t have the original version so i can’t actually compare them, but don’t you think the gimmick is more visible on this compact version edition?

I never did Venom Cube.. do you do need to know how to solve a cube to get it back to original position? Theres no self working gimmick here that puts it back to how it started?
