Canada has to stop giving PGWP for programs that aren’t in demand in this country. The job market is so tight right now. It’s hurting the locals and they get to compete with these newcomers which is hindi dapat. Canadians should be the priority in this country.

I hope he understand why and beside you well know that you came here to study. But I hope you achieve your heart desire. God bless good luck.

Back 2015 ang dami na pauwi after 2 or more years bumalik sila ngayon mga PR at Citizen na sila. Kapag naka recieved ka ng mail galing immigration na u need to go back home umuwi ka na para hinde mag ka problema papers mo kung babalik ka pa.

The policy is in favor of the citizens of Canada and I believe this is great news for its people as it has been abused by other ISs. As you have mentioned, tuition fees are expensive for IS but it was your decision to enroll and study abroad. Canada did not ask you to come here, it was your own volition to study and work here. If you believe that Canada benefits from ISs’ tuition fees, ISs also benefit from this country. The policy making body made a great decision in limiting ISs enrolment (and their families) as its priority is to protect the interest of its citizens. No one has the right to be upset with the new policy.

Di na rin bago yan sa Canada… kailangan pa rin ng immigrant dito so it is a matter of time. Strategize early and do not procrastinate. Good luck po sa lahat in this situation.

FYI... PR status are not allowed to vote it's only for Canadian Citizens!

The whole point of these changes is preventing the Intl Student program as a backdoor to permanent residency and bringing back its integrity.

I remember back in 2010 when the UK restricted international students to stay beyond their graduation due to the same issues that Canada faces now. My family were affected then so we decided to return to the Philippines and applied for Canada. We landed in Canada as PR in 2015 and made sure not to apply as IS. In God’s grace, we are now Canadian citizens. I’m just saying this because this might be the same pathway that Canada will choose in the long run.

Why that? Kc mga iS ay big load sa food bank, bus tickets to name a couple. Husay nyo kc mag get ng aasistance. Challenge nyo ako if totoo itong sinasabi ko. Now daming unemployed kc nakukuha na ng mga IS.
