I live in Australia and the scariest thing for me has been having a bloody great big kangaroo jump straight across the road in front of me when head down ass up on a back road.

Only have 3 atm.

1. 1997 ZZR250: My first road bike, good learner, easy, fun, & very forgiving to ride. 🖤🖤

2. 1999 ZZR600: Beast dad bike, plenty fast, smooth, & comfortable to ride, great for medium to long range touring. ❤🖤

3. 1985 GPz600R: My first major restore/project build, a very classic bike, can't wait to get stuck into it. ❤🖤

I have a red 2006 FZ6, my first bike. It's been nothing but amazing. Super reliable, easy to handle, moves plenty fast when you want it to and I personally like the looks too. Put 7000km on it this summer alone. Paid 3k for it and it was so worth it.

Deer encounters... never on the bike, maybe one day that will happen If I take the bike where I encountered some on a Dogsled. but, with the echo in the forest, I think they would stay hidden like they do when the Rallies or Off road races are on!

The hawk. trying to become a CRF300 Rally, and with the amount spent on it to get it to come close... actually nah, building something yourself is more fulfilling than just saving a little longer and buying the real thing. This is why I have Barkbusters & Africa Twin mirrors on my V-strom 250SX, with more to come, subtle differences someone who doesn't know wouldn't notice, but catch the eye of those who do! Although I do wish I had waited a little longer and got the Honda CB500X with twice the power & some weight down low, although the Bark busters would still have been the first thing done to it! It still wouldn't be the Africa Twin, and it wouldn't even come close to a Tenere. but it would still be totally how I would want it (except for every power increase there's another one wanting to happen)

Yammie, I just bought a naked non-ABS FZ6 with only 18, 000km for 3k euro - and it came with a Leo Vince slapped on. Great steal and I could not resist that one as a bike to get back into riding. So yeah, get an FZ6 if you can.

Yammie what do you think of the '98 BMW R1100s. I really love riding it but not a lot of stuff on it on YouTube. Also double under seat pipes kills it.

Fireblade guy road around on dry rotted tires, he then went home and huffed gasoline while smoking sparkler fumes.

scrambler 500? for the roads he's talking about, I would think a CB500X or it US replacement would have been a better choice, just for the suspension and comfort alone (still has the same engine)(& is still the CB500X outside the USA because the rest of the world doesn't have the EPA trying to make sure the trees have nothing to breathe)
