After dominating the box office once again back in 2019 with Toy Story 4, with another incredible ending fans all over the world couldn’t get enough of it and now that the fourth film in the franchise has come and gone are we expected to get a Toy Story 5? Here’s everything we know so far…

It’s still unclear what plot Toy Story 5 could follow but given that Toy Story 4 left off with Woody and Buzz bid their final farewell in a very emotional sequence as Buzz stays with the beloved cowgirl Jessie and Woody rides off into the sunset with Bo Peep. As Buzz returns with the remaining toys who we expect to see take care of Bonnie as she grows up, and with Woody gone this opens an avenue for Buzz to step up as ‘leader’ amongst the toys. We could also see the story take another direction and see what Woody and Bo Peep’s lives are like now it’s child free.

We need to bring Woody and Buzz back together where Andy is now an adult, married and has kids.

Idea: Andy is about to have his first child and was hoping to collect his toys back from Bonnie to give to his own children. The toys hear this news and become concerned because woody is not with them. The have an amazing adventure trying to find woody in time for Andy to reunite with his toys.

Another spinoff I want to see more of is the Bonnie’s decision on giving up her toys because of growing up and Andy returns with his own child to share his toys with. On the tragic note, Andy’s mother is under Hospice meaning getting ready to die. The message to this the only thing between a broken heart and a smile is what’s inside of you

Woody returning to Bonnie's house with Bo Peep after he gets his voice box back, and the toys being given away to Andy's teenage daughter, who moves to Tokyo, Japan.

Realistically The next Toy Story project I can see being in the works is a “Woody’s Roundup” spin-off show similar to Lighyear where it wouldn’t add to the main story but would give us a glimpse of our favourite Cow Boy. I feel like this film would be based off the hit toy in the universe, but hey that’s just a theory! ;)

Wow. It's quite a surprise to see a # 5 being mentioned especially with what happened in #4. It would nice they allowed Woody to introduce more the Wild West stuff. I can see him special like My Little Pony's huge video collection. He'd be entertaining in Wild West Fantasy that people don't usually mention today like the Cactus Cat secret.

Toy Story in the Cars movies are definitely the best movies that they should continue on with and of course cars on the road if they ever make a season 2 of that

What I expect to see in Toy Story 5 would be a toy factory; every toy of all brands is made there. There can even be bobbleheads, wax figures and wooden puppets.

In my opinion I don’t think that there would be a fifth since some characters were separated from each other at the end of the fourth movie but who knows if Pixar will or will not make one

The only way I can see the toy story franchise get a continuation is through a Disney+ series

I would like to see a spinoff story of Woody like how his character became a toy and so as Jessie because maybe both of them reunite because both Woody and Jessie were part of Woody’s roundup in Toy Story 2

I would love to see Scott Eastwood as Woody
And Holland Roden as Jessie in the spinoff story of Woody
