I'm a 50 something mom of several kids some still younger. I feel more in tune with some of you younger moms because I have a high energy level and still like to keep up with the kids and home and homeschool too. Cleaning behind the fridge, stove, and deep freeze is so important to prevent fires.

Hi Hannah, I just finished cleaning the whole house. I am drying my last load of towels and now I am going to enjoy your video. I just finished drying the bed pillows. I try to deep clean one room each week so I don’t have a lot of extra spring cleaning to do. My next big cleaning will be to wash the curtains and kitchen cabinets. It seems that those jobs are needed about every three months. With cooking it seems that’s the way it is in my home. I use dryer sheets in my trash cans. I also put them under the sofa cushions. It’s that little extra that helps keep the house smelling fresh. Always enjoy watching. Happy spring cleaning until next time😊.

When I was growing up, we always did spring cleaning & fall cleaning. That’s what I was taught to deep clean my house twice a year. It feels so good when it’s all done. I hate to say it but I never pulled my refrigerator out before to clean behind it. I guess I will add that to the list now. Thank you for sharing with us.

Hannah I feel like the older I get the less urgent spring cleaning is😂. I’m 52. Don’t get me wrong… my house needs it but I can’t be bothered. Is it an age thing? I’m certainly still able bodied.

In the midst of Spring Cleaning, started outdoors in the landscaping, removing weeds, planting and mulching. In the house moved the fridge, stove and washer and dryer. One thing I see alot of though is when people clean the inside of their windows, they never get the outside, did that too. Talking about windows I wash the curtains that are washable, and get the rest dry cleaned if needed, do that about 2x's a year♥

I retired in December so I had a lot of time to plan for spring cleaning. I made a checklist for each room and took my time on each item. The house looks and smells amazing! Now we just need some warm weather (I am in Michigan). I enjoy your videos every week. Thank you for the cleaning motivation!

i always clean a room top to bottom in clock wise direction. My least favorite job is dusting our 2” wide slat white wood blinds. Sometimes I can just use duster wand ( thanks for recommending), but eventually I need to do each slat, both sides! Ugh! So much work…so now I only do one room a day to lessen the torture😜. I generally do deep cleaning all year, but baseboards need attention and so do curtains ( vacuuming and washing or at least fluffing curtains on air cycle to remove dust, although sometimes I just have to wash, dry and maybe iron.
I love hanging comforters, sheets in the fresh air and sunshine to dry / air out! Even hang our dry pillows in air just to air them. What a difference!
