Why do you do such a complex curl technique? I thought it was to get a beach type messy curl pattern but then you brushed it out - and doing all that twisting and pulling only left you with a barely-there wave. Had you curled your hair normally, then even when brushed out, you would have had a pretty, voluminous “I actually did my hair” look. The way your hair ended up - looked nearly the same as if you hadn’t done it at all.
