Governor to Trump: Tweet less, listen more on guns

Gov. Jay Inslee (D-WA) told President Donald Trump that "we need a little less tweeting here and a little more listening" on the subject of arming teachers to deter school shootings.
Inslee made the remark during a listening session with roughly 40 governors at the White House. The event is one of several the White House has hosted in the wake of the latest school massacre in Parkland, Florida, amid a nationwide discussion on how to stem gun violence in schools.

Why does Trump believe gun violence is limited to schools? There are many "gun free zones" that have been targeted by sick individuals, such as concerts, cinemas, shopping centers - the problem is epidemic.

Would you rather live in world were everyone has a gun or no one has a gun? I vote for no guns.

I propose this compromise law. "Prohibit the sale AND 'transportation on public thoroughfares' of semiautomatic firearms to people under 25 years of age." This would still allow for "home protection", ownership of existing guns, hunting on your own property and not be "taking anyones guns away".
Additionally make it a crime to have any firearm accessible to a child to have a round chambered.
