I got used to board wipes and removal, which is why I ran a bunch of protection cards like eerie interlude, mark of asylum, Sephara and of course Avacyn. Graveyard recursion is also highly recommended with Emeria (both the land and angel), Faith’s Reward, Karmic Guide and even some overlooked cards like Cosmos Shepherd (gets back lands even).
Removal is a key component of the game, so it’s always best to find ways to interact with it and not act surprised when it inevitably happens.

As someone who has a Giada deck, this hits close to home.
The difference being, I run 18 pieces of removal and all the card draw I could find in white and colorless, which is definitely less than 18 but still. No brittle spirit here. Oh also, Giada is poking whoever is running shadow wizard money gang colors from turn 3 until they have 2 flying power.

Ill never forget this game where I was archenemy at the table, and the guy with the angel deck was slowly building his board, repeatedly going "oh you're so dead". Until someone else played a boardwipe because we were both now scary. When we were rebuilding our fields the turn after and I bolted his Giada right back to the command zone, I thought I was about to get John Wick'd at the table before he immediately scooped.

Jokes aside, I’ll die on the hill that White needs boardwipes. Especially now that red has gotten stronger at getting cards than it used to be. Someone had to be worst at draw, and the trade off is strong answers to threats.

I'm not trying to play uno. I just like making big scary creatures fight. That's why I like playing against green. I live for the combat step. However, I usually ramp angels while green is ramping mana. My goal is to reduce your life total to zero as quickly as possible.
