1:14:38 bengal there is a setting right under the dev regression one that shows how many desired players of star and better in the league, so if you turn off regression you should probably turn up the desired amount to find better dev players and more players devs going up

Hi Bengal, in regards to dev trait regression and the draft classes:
You can only have so many of each dev type in the league at a time based on game settings. Since dev regression is off, people will only develop better dev traits and never lose them which boosts the totals of the dev traits faster. Since these capacities would already be reached before the draft classes, the new players aren't able to have high dev traits. The only way dev traits go away is from retirement.

How would you feel if the regression system was different with each player? Like say in a draft a player randomly starts to regress at 25 and another at 30? Might be unbalanced and could be a pain, but it could also remove the "everyone regresses at 28" thing

Video idea! Rebuild a 0 overall team drafting only projected udfa players. You are allowed to trade down to get more picks, and you are allowed to change your playbooks. No free agency allowed. Trading your first round pick and second round pick for later round picks will be key to winning this because you will get more chances of landing a good player. You have 12 years to win a superbowl or 2.
