I got a Samsung Tab s6 Lite recently. In the past years I would've said android tablets suck, but now, I believe it has changed enormously. Got the tablet for drawing and S Pen is amazing not to mention it came with it. What android lacks on for artists are the apps, but Samsung stepped it up and many pro level apps have arrived. Not saying it's better than iPad in that regard yet, but it is close and coming in hot. iPad is still the best tablet right now, but Samsung has been taking it seriously and is catching up.
