Understanding Dyspraxia: The 'Traffic Jam' of the Brain

The video discusses the condition of dyspraxia, a motor coordination disorder often compared to dyslexia in terms of prevalence. Dyspraxia can affect processing speeds, likened to a 'traffic jam' of information in the brain, causing difficulties in retrieving information during conversation or performing activities. It used to be called a 'clumsy' disorder, a term now avoided for its offensive connotation. It affects coordination and balance, making it difficult to tie shoelaces or bike riding. Notably, dyspraxia also impacts speech and encompasses any activity requiring information retrieval from multiple parts of the brain.

I thought it was dysgraphia and it was like the output side whereas dyslexia is an input issue

Do you know what could be the cause for writing down a sentence, but then either forgetting to write a word or forgetting that you already wrote it and now it is written two times in a row?

Dyslexia affects around 10% of the population, Dyspraxia is around 6% and so they're not as common. Otherwise great video! ❤ Dyspraxic Dyslexic AuHDer
