1:20 C# AND C++'s syntactically Similar and the only major difference is classes and libraries which is different and how you assign variables. how come it be difficult. Misleading Information bro.

It will be difficult to switch over to the other once you've put a lot of time in either unreal or unity

I feel like I'm the only one on the planet that found UE4 easier to start learning with than Unity. I started in UE4 and learnt the basics of game logic, optimizing textures/models etc... then picked up Unity after.

I like both but out the box I like UE4. Immediately I had to find fixed and assets to do things that I wanted to do in Unity(some I had to pay for like IES light support)

Just my experience.

i actually was supposed to use Unity engine. But i had trouble with downloading. if i opened up Unity it just crashes. so i learned unreal and BP by following ONE single tutorial. and i know the basics of Unreal now. it isn't that hard bois.

No way, visual scripting wise, Unreal is better, first it runs faster so you get better performance than with Unity. Second it's free because integrated where as Playmaker costs money and Bolt is far from refined at this stage, we are still awaiting for Bolt 2. For the rest I agree but that point there was very biased. I use Unity by the way but we have to be honest when it comes to visual scripting, Unreal takes the cake easy. For UI I could defend Unreal over Unity and Vice Versa, some things are not that user friendly in Unity. What should have been said is that if 3d is your thing and you want to do it without coding then just go Unreal, if your thing is 2d and you don't mind minimal coding or want to use visual scripting hence with some work around, then go Unity.
