According to Dutch university study, (See 'Is pangasius safe to eat?" video youtube) a 150lb person would have to eat almost their whole weight in Basa every day for 70 years to have any harmful effects. I think this bs is funded by American catfish producers who can't compete, so they disparage.

I like how this robotic voice didn't quote any solid data from any actual studies done nor any findings from any sort of reputable source. You're just supposed to believe them when they say, "many experts say" and blah blah blah. This fish is not banned in the States, we literally just bought some of this fish a week ago, we eat it regularly with no negative effects, for many years. These videos are meant to scare you for views and attention.

I think the info in this video should be verified. Also, viewers should double-check with other sources. Example omega acids. Googling around returns result it has " 5 grams of unsaturated fats, which include some omega-3 fatty acids." But the video here says it has none. For bacteria, Fish in generally needs to be cooked thoroughly to remove all bacteria. Don't eat raw river fishes as your sushi.

TOTAL BS, main reason it was banned in some US states was the low price and risk to local farmed catfish industry. BTW it does contain omega 3 & is high in protein. There are more contaminates, inc radation in US wild salmon from great lakes than basa. Btw, its delicious too

Just buy American meat and fish, it doesn't have any additives, hormones ect, its completely safe, also they dont produce any G.M. crops either, its just a fantastic country, its also the richest country in the world thats why it has no poverty or homeless people, also it has the fittest, healthiest and slimmest people in the world. Its just altogether a smashing place to live and bring up pets, my auntie brian lives in America and said its just a belting place to live and buy egg custards.
