I can't believe I missed the chance to willingly not see this movie. Felt like something I can never take back. The little pause when Melissa's Vanessa tries to find the words before "You Ought to stay". Then when you can finally see her slowly break down, trying to hold back the tears and frustration after that. She can't find the words at first, but she is BEGGING him not to go. This scene and song made me cry buckets, Jesus.

I just how this actually seems like a realistic conversation, you know even thought they're signing and and stuff, they're not dancing, they're not talking about feeling or with metaphors, this could be and actual conversation between two people, it just feels so natural.
that's without talking about how you can hear the acho from the empty apartment, which makes it more real.

just realized that even after vanessa was flirting with him saying they'll drink from the same bottle, usnavi makes a 'well that's a weird thing to say' kind of face and still searches for and finds plastic cups to use lol. If that doesn't perfectly encapsulate 80% of this scene idk what else does
