Fun fact: paper warping is why medieval books had clasps or locks. The parchment would warp, bulge the paper like in your notebooks, so they had to be latched closed somehow!

Another thing you can do, is paint a really big “X” on the back of the pages in white watercolour or even just water. This was what we were taught to do in art class with many of our pieces to get rid of the warp

As a kid, art was a way for me to get away from the struggle of being bullied in school but I’ve slowly drifted away from art and have gone more into music and fashion/textiles. however seeing your YouTube channel has really inspired me to love my art the way it is and to not compare it to someone else’s, your art inspires me and it makes me want to get better at art, and now I enjoy drawing and painting much more than before, thank you
