Wow, Tony is indeed a miracle. I've had Systemic Scleroderma almost 20 years. I'm doing wellbut I can't imagine how much better I would be if I had a stem cell transplant back then. It was unheard of. I am sure that this will benefit so many people who are suffering.

Tony I was not even aware that you had been through all this! You are proof that miracles happen! I have worked with stem cell transplants for leukemia patients the last four years but did not know they were being used to treat scleroderma. I'm so happy for you cuz. God Bless You!!!

Tony - Thank you so much for contacting me last summer. I contacted Northwestern twice, but have only heard back that they received my request. I did have stem cell treatment last summer, but not in the U.S. It did help, but I needed so much more. At any rate, I am going to contact them again to see if I can get into the program. Thank you, again for all your help. And if you are in touch with Dr. Burt, please feel free to put in a good word for me!
So glad you are doing well. You give so many people hope and inspiration!

Wonderful story, Tony! Congratulations on the treatment and God speed. I'm curious about how your treatment went about. Did they collect stem cells from your own body, and injected it back into your body? Where did the doctors collect it from? Thanks, and all the best!
