I also like the theme of ornate medieval metalwork with a practical application in the modern world. Perhaps you could work on some other household fixtures, like door handles, wall hooks, or cabinet hinges, but with hand wrought details. Have you done any sculpted shapes like animals or faces, worked into a metal piece?
