Cloverfield Satellite Falling HD

MUST WATCH IN HD TO SEE IT!

This is an HD version which I have been unable to find anywhere on Youtube of the satellite falling from the sky in Cloverfield at the end of the movie.

THIS part of the film scared me the most for some reason. The idea that the object fell into the sea but was barely noticeable. Makes you wonder....

I remember being in theaters to see this with my friends when it game out. I was about 13 years old. We got there super late to get tickets and this was before the reserved seating method, and ended up sitting in basically the very front 2 rows. Horrible view. I sat on the right side of the screen, aisle seat. At the end of the movie I saw the moment when the object fell out the sky, (since I was right under it looking up) and swore up and down that something fell out the sky and it was the alien or something, and my friends never believed me or saw it, and till this day probably have no idea what I was talking about. I would search on the internet for the clip, even had a bootleg copy of the movie, and nothing. That little scene was so key in the movie for those who caught it.

holy shit that was really hard to see but IT'S THERE! It only shows for about 2-3 seconds falling into the ocean. . Good job to whoever did that. Finally someone who knows the meaning of subtlety.

Matt Reeves confirmed on the 15th anniversary of this film that the object falling is actually the monster

That's one fast-falling satellite. Even more so when it doesn't leave a flaming trail, but that would probably be too obvious for the audience.

Anyone here from watching cloverfield paradox? I honestly thought the pod fell in the monster mouth but I guess it fell down here RIP.. also listen closely to 0:28 and u can here the monster ROAR which is what It did at the end of Paradox after the pod came down!

It was the satellite that fell. It was part of the marketing campaign for the movie. Apparently, it is what caused Tagurato (fictional company in the cloverfield world that deep sea drills for the main ingredient for Slusho) to retrieve it and wake up the monther who was under water sleeping for 1000 years (according to the director) which caused the destruction in the movie.

This is either the pod the two survivors from paradox were in at the end of The Cloverfield Paradox, or part of the space station debris that crash landed in the ocean in the other dimension. Is Cloverfield 1 in a different dimension than The cloverfield Paradox? I think so.

I like how after cloverfield everyone thought it was the monster that splashed down, after 10 Cloverfield lane, no one cared about the splash down. And now after Paradox we're thinking to ourselves, 'did they really see into the trilogy and plan for it to be a space station splashing down?"

You're right the director said that it's a newborn baby. In the movie they say that an oil rig was destroyed (news lady), the oil rig that opened up a hole to where the monster was buried and the satellite falling was what woke it up. Also, at the end of the movie AFTER the credits you hear one more audio clip it says "Help us." If you play that backwards it says "It's still alive." and that might be a hint to a sequel.
