NO MORE ENTRY to Russia & China

How can NATO protect the world from the threats posed by Russia and China? This question has been on the agenda for a long time. Russia and China's main objectives are clear. Both countries dream of accelerating their economic dynamics in the Baltics and the Arctic and establishing an autocratic shadow empire over the entire world, including the Pacific and the Atlantic. It is at this point that NATO is turning to the Baltics and Scandinavia, which Russia and China see as their primary playground. The international military alliance wants to block the Moscow-Beijing partnership, especially in the Nordic region. Already the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO was aimed at blocking these profound risk factors. But NATO needed more. For this, the focus of the members of the international military alliance has shifted entirely to the Nordic region. The Nordic alliance members were alarmed by Russia and China's access to regional natural wealth. The Nordic group, led by four countries, has strongly emphasized NATO's deterrent power by creating a joint air shield against Russia and China. They were Finland, Sweden, Norway, Norway and Denmark. Instead of acting independently in their own airspace, they intended to act as a single coherent military force responsible for the security of a region the size of Brazil. Finland is leading the way with its robust military, including the transition of F/A-18s to F-35As, while Norway is providing F-35s and advanced radar systems. Denmark is modernizing with F-35As and Sweden is strengthening its fleet of locally produced JAS Gripen. This massive air power sets a benchmark for regional security cooperation within NATO and the Arctic.

We will now take a deeper look at how the Nordic group can effectively use this joint air power against Russia and China, how many fighter jets and air assets the alliance has, and how this joint power affects the Moscow-Beijing partnership

The Nordic Alliance of Norway, Sweden, and Finland is an awesome innovative force that Russia does not want to mess with at all!

The last time Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland was truly unified against an outer threat was the Kalmar Union in the 15th century. Just to put all this in perspective.

Norway has 46 F35s, and a further 6 in the USA for training new pilots, plus five new P8 surveillance aircraft.

So whether Ukraine joins, or never joins NATO, it may be irrelevant because the close ties Ukraine has with NATO countries and the US in particular, Russia will never concur Ukraine. Russia unwittingly tied Ukraine to NATO and declaring it a member or not is irrelevant. Russia can’t reverse this.

I am Canadian. We have a huge northern border that has no defence other than radar and an aging fleet F-18s. We understand our dependence and US and NATO. Through numerous governments over the past few decades, our military has been neglected. Hopefully, our next government will be able to contribute more to NATO.

On February 17, 2024, Wang Yi, foreign minister of China, a country with a population of 1.4 billion, attended the Munich Security Conference in Germany and expressed China's basic position. Wang stated that "national sovereignty and territorial integrity must not be unjustly infringed upon" and that "the purposes and principles of international law and the UN Charter must be respected and observed, " and that "we expect all UN member states to act in good faith in accordance with these principles." China signed a "Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation" with Ukraine in 2013, which includes a clause that "China will assist Ukraine if it is invaded." It is clear that China is setting aside its own expansionist actions for the time being and criticizing Russia with "Russia's invasion and annexation of Ukraine" in mind.

This is a big development! What led to the decision of no more entry to Russia and China? Is it related to travel restrictions, or are there other factors at play? Would love to learn more!

F35 great for offense like strikes with its stealth capacity. It can defend too but long rearm times and high running cost makes it less ideal for that purpose.

Gripen great for controling an airspace with its Air to Air supremancy. Latest version comes with jamming and decoy technology. It has low maintainence times and running cost which makes it the ideal defensive fighter. Rearming and fueling can be done in an hour by 4 people and done on a highway.
