The government spies 1000 times more today. This movie was well ahead of its time.

what a trooper, Gene Siskel. You can tell he can barely muster the energy in his terminal state, but he put in the work with a brave face

What great film about conspiracy and eavesdropping technology. Great filmmaking style by Tony Scott. I do miss him as director. Will Smith performance is wonderful. Gene Hackman performance is fantastic similar to the character he played in the movie The Conversations Jon Voight performance is excellent. A great edge of your seat action thriller. And a terrific supporting cast.

Most underrated Will smith movie, everybody remember Bad boys, Men in black & Independence Day from him in the 90s but man this was a great interesting movie. And the cast was excellent

No question my favorite Tony Scott movie and he's directed many favorites of mines but this one is also one of my all time favorite movies..I remember when I first saw it on vhs in 1999 when I was 13 I was thinking "no way they could do all that, we don't have that technology" ffwd over 25 years later we can explore the whole damn globe with Google Maps so I'm sure the government has this kind of tech and they probably had it back in 98..I really don't have any issues with this movie, the cast is crazy packed with actors I either really like or love the hell out of and they all are at the very least solid in their roles, especially Will and Gene and of.course Jon Voight, after this and Anaconda I was starting to hate Jon Voight but damn within in a few years he became and still remains one of my all time favorite actors...Tony also did an amazing job helming this classic..I hope u resting peacefully bruh, U, Gene and Roger

I was a 10 year old, 5th grader when this film came out. I never saw it in the theater, but I did grow up watching it on VHS, then on DVD, and now on blu-ray. It's one of my favorite Will Smith movies.

Really enjoyed Enemy Of The State, I do definitively agree with Ebert that it's a WAY better film than Armageddon as he mentioned, then again I wonder what film Ebert mocked several years ago ''where a satellite from space could look at license plates on the ground''.
