Rode the Lux CF SL 6.0 Pro Race at the Downieville Classic this year. Incredible bike that handled everything I came up against. I was really surprised how well it did on rough terrain and how controlled it feels. This review is spot on.

Great review, and appreciate the comment about removing the lockout, if it were your bike.

Hello Will thanks for the review. Which bike do you find more versatile. The SC Blur or Canyon Lux 2019 ?

Nice bike! Would you recomend SL version 110 / 100 bike for someone recreational, who drive 80% gravel and quite easy single tracks and other 20% some more hard trails. Or would be better option 120/120 bike?

Hi, what do you think of the geometry? Is the fork (70 degrees) to steep? Or will this bike work for some trail raiding as well? I can se that more bikes like spark have 67, 5-68, 5 degrees probably to be more trail friendly. What is the downside with slacker angel for xc? Regards RK

How about the trail version of this? 120mm rear, 130mm front, 68ish degree head angle? Still around 22-23lbs? Seems perfect!

Hello everyone. I have a decision to make, perhaps you could assist:
I need to choose one of these 2 options as my next MTB:
Option 1: used canyon lux (2016 model carbon fiber, sram xx1, 11x1) condition "ok".
Option 2: New Polygon T7.
Both options are at the same price.
The reason that I'm considering the polygon is that I am worried that the 6 year old xx1 might get too old, and to fix it would cost a fortune.
Can anyone please give me some tips what should I do?
I ride mostly XC.
I will appreciate your input very much!

Looking into one of those - What really throws me of is the grip shift - what have been your experiences with it? Surprised you didn't mention it to be honest

Wow, this bike looks amazing. Wanted to buy me a new Spark 900 Ultimate, but I'm impressed with this specs, beauty and pricing. My only concern is the relatively high Standover Hight of 79cm for a small frame (compared to a Spark or Epic). My Inseam with shoes measured at 78cm. Anybody thoughts about that?

Hi, Thanks for a good review! I wonder which size that will be correct for me 180 cm? You said that you tested size M. Can I ask how tall you are? When I'm comparing this bike with the Scott Spark they recommend me size L. Canyon recommend size M in the Lux but the measurements for the Lux (M) is smaller than Spark (L). So I'm trying to fiend the right Lux size here:) Any thoughts about having a small or large bike? Regards Rolf K. Norway

Hmm, the Specialized Epic builds the same bike without the need for a chain guide or top tube guide.

The cheapest carbon epic cost over 4000 and comes with NX.

This seems like a (poor) copy of an Epic.
