Nvidia Tegra X1 Revealed CES 2015

Nvidia has just announced another game changer, the Tegra X1, mobile CPU. This chip is based on Maxwell GPU architecture and capable of 4k at 60FPS. The X1 delivers twice the performance of the K1 while only requiring 10 watts of power. This is innovation. Enjoy!

What's kind of sad is intel introduce their trail processor that spec better than Tegra x1. intel only uses 6w, so 10w is actually near double. Sorry nVidia...

Volume level is REALLY low.  It's inaudible on my laptop and had to crank up on my desktop to make anything out (and then a system beep blew my eardrums out when I forgot I had the volume turned up).

Haven't seen that big a leap and specially for a mobile platform in a long time! They kept this a secret or maybe it was getting out and had to jump onto the scene quick over the competition?

i have not been following nvidia i was more of a snapdragon is this processes more powerful then the snapdragon 810 and do you think that nvidia will be the next big mobile chip producer.
