Appreciated this video, I’ve felt pretty alone on ‘I still believe in Wiggs’ island. I think how he performs this year may be central to how high the Warriors can go. Which gives reason for pessimism, sure, but also reason for hope. I hope with Klay moving on Wiggs will embrace the more central role he has to play for this squad to be the best version of itself. As for Wiggins, I think he’s going to be great this year. If you look last year, Wiggins essentially just got way less shots. 2nd half the season he was playing great. Personally, I’d entertain starting him at the 2. Our spacing will suck regardless, might as well run the best defensive lineup. Him at the 2 gives us the same defensive advantages as pre injury Klay, a lockdown POA defender with size, allowing us to switch more, having less holes in our defense.

Draymond and Thompson. There were responsible for championship…..but they were the biggest reasons we didn’t get further in the playoffs. Clay sorry play and Draymond sabotaging the team by being suspended is why were weren’t higher in the play off standing at the end of the regular season

Im not sure about Wiggins bouncing back, but I agree Klay has been a negative since coming back from injury. Klay was arguably the 5th most impactful player on the 22 championship run while making 40+mil.

Betting on Wiggins suddenly returning to the form that he's only shown for maybe 6 months of his near 10 year career is just pie in the sky. He's never had a high motor or shown much dog to him consistently. His personal life is his personal life so I make no comment on that and certainly there seems to plenty of reasons why basketball for any team isn't his main focus these days. As for a role on the court things might improve a bit now that the dead weight of Klank is off the team. Overall though for everyone shouting to trade him, another team has to want him and there is no guarantee of even getting an equal asset in return.

I'd do Wiggins + a 2nd pick for Jakob Poeltl if Toronto wanted.
Hell, Wiggs straight up for Bruce Brown.
Wiggs gets to be near his family in Toronto, Bruce can help this year and 24mil comes off the books to resign Kuminga and Moody in the offseason.
Seems like a decent move for all parties involved, and would be a kind thing for the Warriors to help Wiggins out.

Wigs is lethal when he plays well. Warriors have had a lot of let downs over the years. I think he takes more blame than he should. He is expected to do well as long as his head is in the right place. He's a crucial piece for the team, proving people wrong. I'm betting 60+ wins.
