Therefore, I believe in the medium and long term that South America will adopt more extreme and radical measures, as President El Salvador Nayib Bukele did and his measures to reduce crime and structure the prison system. The time comes, as happens with Ecuador and El Salvador, that the government and society will have to choose between security or becoming "eternal" victims of organized crime.
