Following his ISSA ALBUM & collaborative effort with Offset titled WITHOUT WARNING & a slew of notable features in 2018 with Travis Scott & Metro Boomin we've been anticipating this new album for quite a few months now. Let's see what he's brought to the table.

I feel like "I am > I was" is sort of an inside story within the album. Look at the first half of the album, the most agressive, hood songs, whether it's the instrumentals or the lyrics, it's harder. The second half is more mature, having romantic moments, a letter to his mom, proves that he has grown not just as an artist but also as a person.

if you look at the actual list of what came out this year, this is one of the better albums in terms of its consistency, especially considering this is the caliber of music he is releasing and he's only what three years into this, especially if you consider what his early music was like. I think it's a great album and all the features are well placed too. 8/10.
