It goes both ways. The sellers need to ship the right product in good working condition that matches the advertised product as well! If that can be done, the returns may come
Down significantly. No?

“Someone somewhere has to pay the price for it “ perfectly said as ppl buy stuff for one time use eg speakers for weekend party and then return, we should do better 😞

If there is no return policy then online shopping itself will go down and so does the economy. It is sellers who manipulate online shopping more.

That's exactly right Palki. It sickens me to see this. Clothes are especially difficult to shop for online. There is no perfect size. We're just filling our world with trash and making the rich richer because they send it right back to the consumers or employees.

One way to avoid returns, don't ship hair color to a customer when he ordered wifi adapter. This by a company collecting an annual fee for free shipments.

block the sellers whose products get returned more than the acceptable limit. Block the buyers who return more than acceptable limit. Set a target for both.

We humans are losing it completely. All the majority do is work, eat and sleep and are glued to the cellphone whenever free time is available. No physical exercise whatsoever. At least with shopping they had an opportunity to go out and exercise their body. Now many don't even do that.

If you’re buying merchandise based on pictures and seller’s (generally inflated) descriptions, returns will occur, regardless. If they make Returns hard for customers, it will bring a negative impact on sales.

But today’s prices are also covered for returns, thefts and damages anyway.
