As a 12 yr old kid growing up in Fall Rivah, I had shared a newspaper route with my best friend for the Fall River Herald News. As every kid back then had heard and known the story of Lizzie Borden. Well back then in early 60's one of our customers was the Leary Printing Press right next door to Borden House. Later we acquired a new customer who lived on 2nd floor of Borden house. So once a week on Friday I would have to collect for paper route. And I recall going to the side entrance door to go up stairs 2nd floor apartment to knock on door for payment. The old lady living there wasnt home. So as I was walking back down stairs to leave, I heard a loud voice saying GET OUT.! I never felt so scared, my heart started pounding hard as I ran back out to second street to grab my dirtied gray canvas Herald News paper bag. And continue my route south along second st. After that day I never went back into Borden House. A few months later I quit my paper route. I still visit Fall River once in a while to visit some friends and relatives but I avoid second st.

Lizzy was a Sunday school teacher at Central Congregational Church in the downtown. She is historically one of the biggest benefactors of Faxon Animal Shelter too.

I liked being able to see the inside of the house live, to get a better understanding of the size of the rooms, in relationship to how small or large they actually were, and how much room there was to get around in them. Wish they had had luminol back then to trace blood splatter. And I read an account a very long time ago that mentioned a carriage that was seen parked not far from the house, and speculated that it could have actually been Emma, and that she did the murders. She had been visiting a friend or relative, made a quick trip to the house to do the murders, and quickly back to where she was visiting.

Commercialization of the murder house is pretty creepy on its own. This was a tragedy. Turning it into a circus is greed.

I think the laughing and giggling and the tacky items in the "gift shop" showed a distinct lack of respect that two people were slaughtered in that house. It's a beautiful house.

In the summer of 2019 I had my birthday and I wanted to go to the Lizzie Borden home and see Boston and the Salem Witch Trails and the history of Boston and it was amazing. We had an amazing tour guide for the Lizzie Borden home and I have a hoodie I brought from there and I went to Salem Mass which was so amazing. I placed a penny on Lizzie's grave and the Lizzie Borden home is 100% haunted. I talked to the people who worked at the gift shop.

I just drove by the Lizzie Borden house last weekend! My first time in Fall River, Massachusetts.

She was cleared of the charges the house is of an interesting design though although she ended buying a larger house but this house been well preserved alot paranormal stories revolve around its been the interest various paranormal investigators including the Warren's its popular place much like the ammitiville house
