a veto can be overruled by 2/3th of both chambers voting against a veto; that's roughly 67 persons in the Senate and 218 in the house voting against the veto. However, only 12 Republican senators voted against the national emergency. Trump is going to get what he wants, unfortunately. how can you get 535 people to agree on one thing? some of us can't even agree on where to go for dinner.
