Renewal by Andersen Fibrex window part 1

Many clients I consult with are very confused about certain aspects of the "Fibrex" frame material as well as other aspects of the RBA window.

I did 3 videos on this to clear up some confusion and you can decide for yourself whether or not you like the window.

I was in a Factory Owned Renewal by Anderson location today. Their window doesn’t operate like this at all. In fact, as I scoured the internet looking for reviews and videos, no one has the current window and its major improvements showing. The release is the simplest I have ever seen. Even simpler than Marvin. The weather sealing of the sashes is superb. Nothing on the market like it, yes. Super easy to move based on their counterweight spring design, regardless of window size. Much stronger frame as they just released new Fibrex upgrades to formula.

If you searched and are looking for RBA window information, go to your local factory owned shop. See it in person. Based on my last 30 days looking at all window brands, all high efficient windows that will give you a wood look, and eve real wood interior….this beats everyone. In fact, you don’t even see plastic jamb liners anymore either. No weatherstripping sticking out. The window now feels like you are closing a vacuum when it shuts. Great improvement in technology and materials over previous generations.

Considering Renewal is a competitor who’s known to have the best window

Misleading information - I have renewal by Andersen Windows and they are way easier to use than cheap chalky vinyl that I used to have, not to mention the high quality of Fibrex material

I like my RbA. I'm here because I forgot how to open to clean. 12 yrs so far so good. They are pricey though.

You sure that’s not the 100 series Fibrex window? Doesn’t look like the RBA window to me?

This is very old and it’s all in one latch now that takes approximately half a second to open and you need one hand…

I met with a renewal by Andersen rep and they brought out a window. The side tabs were not part of the process. Maybe the window in this video is an old style. The one I saw had a single center lock. When unlocked I lift up the window, push the lock past it's unlock (towards the upper window) and pull out, easy. The top window slides down and 2 latches are in the top that I slide inwards and it pulls out. It was simple. So, I don't know if it's a different series I saw, I wasn't offered different series of windows so I figured there was only one. Not sure.

I would not use Anderson at all they quoted me a price before even coming out to my house on some trapezoid windows $3, 000 a piece and 15 to 20, 000 for two patio doors no way dude

OK, so one of the two biggest quality window manufacturers in the U.S. doesn't know how to design a window. Got it. I have Andersen wooden tilt wash windows have no problem operating them.

Regarding Renewal by Andersen. Hey all. My mom ordered 1 giant slider last June (2021). They haven't installed it. All we get are excuses after 10k down. Seems they have lots of time for this nearby though. I'm pretty sure they'll just keep the money and ignore the installation.
