Put a restoration staff in your hand and farm random normal dungeons as a basic healer. Healers find parties a lot easier than DPS's, and you get a large XP bonus for completing a random dungeon; also you get a large amount of XP for finishing the dungeon's story mission. Once you unlock your level 50, respec your character for the playstyle of your choice. I find it to be faster, and a lot less mundane than these farming methods, and if you're enjoying being a healer, start farming your champion points the same exact way.

*BONUS LOCATION* The Village of the Lost public dungeon in Coldharbour has an extremely high density of enemies that are all Daedra. Easy XP and fighters guild!

Westtry, which is West of Camlorn, is a pretty decent grinding spot.

Oh god, the memories of grinding alik'r desert mobs, I remember I would wait until really late at night until all the players left in order to
solo it, and eventually I grouped with AFK-ers at a high level to solo Skyreach (best method I ever found, but it can't be restarted solo).

If you do have ESO plus or own Orsinium, a good place to grind at is Old Orsinium(the public dungeon in the northwest corner of the map). Was a very popular spot when it first came out, but I still like it. There is a large room with a circular path filled with harpies, bears, spiders, and a few other things. Spawn rate is nice. Best part of this room is the enemies don't fill your inventory up with a bunch of junk, but instead give you loads of leather, spider eggs(if you're into alchemy), clean pelts, and decorative wax. So it's a nice way to get dreugh wax for crafting. The room also has a boss in it, so you'd have chances to get Ancient Orc motifs.

Best and fastest xp grind is battlegrounds. The daily will boost you two to three levels on the low levels and you get alliance points that can be exchanged for soul gems then sold for gold. The only downside is you level so fast most of your skills are all low when you hit cp. Full best is still dolmen running because your skills will level almost in sync with your character level. You'll still hit cp before any skill hits 50 but theyre closer.

Hircines Haunt in Craglorn, it's full of werewolves, and it's a group delve. Very simple zone, basically it's a ring with the boss at the end, you can only go one way around it.

Incidentally if you don’t have the fighters guild passives killing the adds will level up your fighters skill line 🤷‍♂️

For anyone needing starting help leveling up. Get Eso plus. Use crown experience scrolls and go through main quest nonstop asap. Itll open up more areas. And every day do a dungeon. That will level you up pretty fast to 50

I was never into grinding hard for exp, so after like 5 years of doing all kinds of trials and all that I finally hit 810. feels good
