Making a Socket Holder || DIY tool organization project

I make holders/organizers for my socket sets to help me find the sockets I need faster.

At first I thought you were going to cut holes on the board until I saw you use dowels instead. That's brilliant.

I really like this idea. I think you went a lot more technical than I would have. I would have just traced the sockets and then drilled.

I did this but put the pegs into a 2 x 2, then mounted several of these on a board and placed the board onto the side of my workbench, which is on wheels. The other side of the board holds the ratchet wrenches.

Set some 1/2" magnets in the wood to hold the sockets when hung vertically.

Sockets do come with holders you know .

How has that Milescraft drill press/guide been?
Is it worth the price? Or should I save up for a dedicated drill press?

Are you making a piece of furniture or a useful rack? Line the sockets up on a piece of wood and hammer a nail through each one and spend the time doing some real work!

WOW!!!! I would have just eyeballed the whole job and finished in an hour not 3 weeks!!!!
